The
work plan of The Africa Law Institute is divided into
two major programs: 1) Law Reform and 2) Research.
The Law Reform Program will assist African governments
to clarify, amend or otherwise update their existing laws
in various areas of public and private law. While
not meant to be exhaustive, the Research Program is sub-divided
into six major themes:
