Who is eligible to become a member?

Anyone with an interest in good governance, democracy and the rule of law in Africa willing to participate actively in our work would be eligible to become a member of The Africa Law Institute.


What benefits will members enjoy?

Members of the Institute will enjoy unprecedented access to a broad continent-wide network of distinguished African legal scholars and professionals. Additional membership benefits include the following:

Having direct access to original insight and commentary on pressing legal and public issues pertaining to Africa;

2. Priority access to innovative publications, including discounts in the purchase of such publications;

3.

Invitations to a broad range of events, and

4.

While members are not required to pay membership dues until further notice, the Institute does welcome donations from you to help us carry out work. 

All members will be required to pay membership dues. Information on the applicable membership fees will be posted on this web site as soon as it becomes available.

How do I become a member?

Please note that all prospective members of the Institute are required to download and complete our Membership Application Form. All applicants must furnish all the information requested on our membership form. The member is asked to return the form to us by e-mailing memberships@africalawinstitute.org
