Julia
Osei-Tutu, Finance and Operations Officer
Julia Osei-Tutu, of Ghanaian origin, is legal counsel
at the Canadian Department of Justice where she advices
on domestic and international intellectual property
matters. Before joining Justice, she worked at Fasken
Campbell Godfrey (now Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LL.P.),
a major Canadian law firm. Julia holds a Master of
Laws degree from McGill University specializing in
Intellectual Property and International Trade. She
completed her Bachelor of Laws degree at Queen's University
in Kingston, Ontario and a Honors Bachelor of Arts
degree in Political Science and Spanish at the University
of Toronto. Her research interests include the implications
of international intellectual property regimes such
as TRIPS for domestic sovereignty.
