Koyame
Mungbalemwe Rita Koyame is Assistant Professor of
Economics at Florida Memorial College in Miami.
Rita is originally from the Democratic Republic
of Congo where she studied for her B.A. in Economics
at the University of Kinshasa. Following her undergraduate
studies, Rita’s love for economics landed
her at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana
where she completed both her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees
in Economics. Her research interests are in the
areas of economic development, international economics,
monetary policy, and public finance. She recently
co-wrote a chapter entitled "The Economic Impact
of the Congo War" in The African Stakes
of the Congo War edited by John F. Clark and
published by Palgrave Global Publishing, August
2002.
