Alex Amankwah

Alex Amankwah is Associate Professor and former Deputy Dean of Law at the Faculty of Law, James Cook University, Australia. Prior to that, he was Dean at the Faculty of Law, University of Papua New Guinea and Senior Lecturer and Head of Department at the Faculty of Law, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He holds undergraduate degrees from the University of Ghana (Legon), a Master of Laws degree from Cornell University where he was a Fulbright Scholar and a Doctor of Juridical Science from New York University Law School. His publications include five books and numerous articles in refereed journals. He currently teaches Land Law, Public International Law and Conflict of Laws.
